Jason Allen is a published photojournalist

for The Associated Press and Getty Images. He  found his passion for photography a few years after having served in the Army, where he received the Purple Heart for being wounded in combat. His career started by finding his love for being outdoors and self-educating himself to become a professional landscape photographer. He has participated in many art shows in the Western United States, won various awards for his work, and lead workshops to help better other aspiring photographers. The dreams of opening up his own gallery near Yosemite National Park came to an abrupt halt when COVID struck, so needless to say, he needed to find ways to continue shooting.

His first attempts at sports photography were by way of shooting youth football league and then he moved on to be the team photographer for a USL-1 soccer club in Central California. Due to Jason's nature of always wanting to strive towards higher levels of growth, he began covering professional soccer matches all throughout California. Expanding his portfolio, he began covering NCAA football games, NFL games, Super Bowl LVII, and multiple PGA events.

Jason moved to the Atlanta area where he worked with the photography teams for Atlanta United and the Falcons. Since then, he has mastered other genres of photography from corporate headshots, family portraiture, wedding photography, studio lighting, and other facets of photography.

For him, it is all about learning and becoming the best possible photographer for his clients, so he upholds the highest levels of customer services while being able to provide the best work available to his clients with a fast turnaround.
